Fire Stopping Installation

Following a compartmentation and fire stopping survey EAL will be able to carry out fire stopping installation works.

Our operatives are highly skilled and experienced fire stopping installers. They will be under the direct supervision of the EAL Approved Person, who will be responsible for inspecting and signing off all fire stopping works.

All fire stopping installations will be carried out under the BM Trada Q Mark Fire Stopping Installation Scheme as follows –

• Group A: Fire stopping and fire sealing products/kits for penetration seals

• Group B: Fire stopping and fire sealing products for linear joint seals

Clients will be provided with very robust supporting documentation so they can assured that the work has been carried out satisfactorily by a competent person using the correct products. The documentation includes –

• Fire test evidence; global assessments etc for the products used.

• Manufacturer’s installation/maintenance documents.

• Product data sheets.

• A record of installation activities (RIA) form listing all the fire stops installed (including photographs of before, during and after the installation).

• Each fire stop installed will be traceable via the Q Mark fire stopping labelling system which links the fire stop to the RIA form.
